Chair Aileen Addo served as a Councillor for Mapoon Aboriginal Shire Council for 12 years, including 8 years as Mayor. Chair Addo’s portfolio included Housing, Health & Aged Care, Social Events and Emergency Services. She is a former health worker with nearly 30 years of extensive knowledge and experience working in the health sector and remains strongly committed to making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of her mob.

Flora Warrior
Ms Flora Warrior is a Traditional Owner from Mabuiag Island in the Torres Strait and is a well-respected community advocate and leader. Ms Warrior is currently a director at Torres Health Indigenous Corporation and has extensive experience in Indigenous Health in the Commonwealth and State space and is also a former local government Chief Executive Officer.
She has a Bachelor of Arts, and a Master of Business Administration, is a Principal Consultant in her Business, Saltwater Blue Consultancy Services and is involved in a number of sectors.

Patricia Yusia
Ms Patricia Yusia, former Mayor of the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council, has over 20 years of expertise in health not only as a health worker but also as a senior executive at Bamaga Hospital.
Ms Yusia is a foundational member and Treasurer of the NPA Family and Community Services ATSI Corporation and has also held leadership roles as Director of the Child Protection Peak Body and Director for the Remote Area Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Care Program.

Ned David
Mr Ned David is currently the Chairperson of Gur A Baradharaw Kod Torres Strait Sea and Land Council (GBK). Mr David has extensive work history in both the government and private sector and is the Chair of several organisations in the Torres Strait including the Torres Strait Islanders Regional Education Council and Malu Lamar Registered Native Title Body Corporate.
His work history includes education and organisational reform in both the public and private sectors. Mr David also chaired the Advisory Committee on Indigenous Repatriation for the Commonwealth Government.

Bruce Gibson
Mr Bruce Gibson is currently the Mayor for Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council. Mr Gibson offers a wealth of experience across the public and private sector having worked at the local government level for over 8 years. As the newly appointed Mayor, Mr Gibson aims to improve the liveability of Hope Vale through health, economic and social development which he finds essential for the growth of his community.

Falen Passi
Director Passi was nominated to represent one of the eight tribes of the Mer Meauram tribe and was subsequently elected by the Mer Gedkem Le (MGL) directors to become the chairperson of MGL.
He currently serves as the Chairperson of the MGL and as the Deputy Chair of the Gur A Baradharaw Kod TSI Sea and Land Council. Additionally, Director Passi is a member of Malu Lamar TSI RNTBC for Mer (Murray Island). He has worked extensively with both government and private sector representatives to advocate for the Eastern Cluster of Ugar, Mer, and Erub people of the Meriam Nation.
